榾木の準備 （Preparation for mushroom）

田んぼの作業がある程度目途が立った（まだいろいろやることがありますが）ので、

 

次はキノコの準備です。

 

山の畑の周りにある気を物色し、

 

今年は栗の木を伐ります。

 

とても小さな実がなるシバグリで、毎年イノシシがその下を荒らす木があるので、これを伐りました。

 

太い大きな樹なので、少々恐怖感がありましたが、

 

栗の木は柔らかくてスカスカしているので、案外簡単に伐れました。

 

いつもの通りワイヤーで引っ張っておいて、

 

切っていてミシミシを音がしはじめたら切るのをやめ、後はウィンチで引っ張って倒します。

 

予定通りの方向に倒れました。

 

 

樹を伐るためには周辺の下刈りが必要です。

 

畑の周辺に小さな木がたくさん生えていましたが、大分すっきりしました。

 

山の畑そのもの荒れ地状態なので、草刈りも必要です。

 

ぼちぼちひとつづつやっていきます。

 

 

榾木にする樹は1本では足りないので、他にも倒しますが、今日は疲れたのでおしまいです。

 

 

I startd the preparation for mushroom.

Today, I cut down one chestnut tree to make "hodagi" to cultivate mushroom "shiitake".

The chestnut tree is not so good for hodagi. But, I cut it down because the chestnut was almost for boar. 

First, I set wire on the tree, cut the tree to a certain degree, and pull it down by wire and winch.

It went down to the good direction.

 

After around a month, the tree will be dried, I will cut it in proper size, and prant the fungal of "shiitake" on the tree.

 

I will cut down other trees because more trees are necessary.
